Enhancing my Performance
Training in the ‘ATP’ energy system could help me improve upon my intensity when striking using either a kick or a punch to the glove. This would help my performance in striking kicks and punches to be more accurate and strong in my hits. As viewing an elite taekwondo athlete training their attacking strength, power, speed and accuracy in their punches and kicks are done with no faults. So, improving my performance for next year in Taekwondo, I will need to focus on the ATP system as using the 95%-100% of intensity for 5-10 seconds is vital to have accurate, powerful striking ability in Taekwondo.
